Management

As the incumbent in this important role, Dr. Mbatha sets the tone for all our work that goes into each publication. This includes new lexical items that need to be introduced into the current isiZulu lexicon.

Judge S J Ngwenya is the Chairperson of the Board. He serves in the Executive Council.

Prof. Mandlenkosi Maphumulo is an academic, poet and author. His poems are published in poetry anthologies such as Izinsungulo (1980); Iminduze (1986); Amaqoma (1992); Umlilo Namalangabi (1994), and Izimvemvane (2012).

Mandla Simelane is a self-employed accountant. His practice has been in existence since 1982. He started his practice at Empangeni where he operated for more than 25 years. His office is now based at eNkandla.

Ms. Fortunate Hlengiwe Ngcobo is an Assistant Director in the KZN Dept. Arts and Culture (Language Services Directorate), under Lexicography, Terminology Co-ordination and Literature Development Unit.

Mrs. Thokozani Patience Shabalala is the isiZulu educator at Phindangene CLC. She is the critical reader for UNISA, and the Internal Moderator IsiZulu Home Language with the department of Basic Education. The tutor and member of Inhlangano yababhali uSiba.
